Villa 1 is a renovated mansion, built in 1908, in a unique location between the Aegean Sea and the iconic cathedral of Agios Nikolaos.

Close to the historical Ermoupolis Mayor House of Ziller and the Apollon Theater, in the neighborhood called Vaporia, (meaning steamboats) your journey begins. Villa 1 is the penthouse of a mansion starting just above the sea. The views to the Aegean Sea and the city are breath-taking. Up to 7 guests can enjoy the daily sunrise and sunset feasts, while chatting endlessly between the sunny sky and the deep blue sea.

The ceilings and the walls with paintings that were added in the course of the centuries reflect the renaissance and neoclassical style. It is amazing how the beauty of Ermoupolis city is embodied in the premises of Villa 1. The living rooms with the objects d’art, the comfortable bedrooms and the balcony views to the sea, the sunset and the sunrise, the impressive Agios Nikolaos church and the vivid city life...It is not much of a surprise that in 1989, the Greek Ministry of Culture awarded Villa 1 as a “Special Architectural Ermoupolis Monument”!

We are now entering the indoor and outdoor areas of the Villa. Prepare to witness the grandeur of Syros’ past and the new era of a mansion that will make you part of the authentic living in Syros. Probably not just living, but also feeling and enjoying the best of Syros Island.

First Floor

Climb up the wooden stairs that lead you to the first floor. The living rooms, bedrooms, the kitchen, the dining room, the study and the balconies with the stunning view will enchant you and immerse you in the Villa 1 living.
LIVING ROOM. A 120 m² living room decorated with unique pieces of art, furnished with inviting sofas and arm chairs, whereas the villa’s study becomes the perfect place for leisurely moments with your company.
DINING ROOM. Dine in style at the stunning dining room that can seat up to 8 people.
MAIN KITCHEN. The villa’s main kitchen (15 m²) is fully equipped with every modern amenity, including a dishwasher, fridge, cutlery, microwave oven, filter coffee and espresso makers, oven and a table for 4.
BEDROOM. A large bedroom (30 m²) facing the sea with a double bed (1.60X2.00m) is located on the same floor. The bedroom features its very own veranda with panoramic views of the area.
BATHROOM. The Villa’s main bathroom (12 m²) is also located on the first floor and is decorated with frescoes. Here, you will enjoy taking long baths in the big circular bath tub.
SECONG LIVING ROOM. The second living room is the entertainment room. It is approximately 30 m² and it is fully furnished with a sofa, 2 arm chairs and a dining table for 4, a big flat screen TV with satellite channels (OTE TV is also available) and DVD/CD player that spreads the music across the living spaces of the villa.
SECOND BEDROOM. Next to the second living room there is the second bedroom of the first floor with a king size bed (1.80X2.00m) and access to the veranda.
VERANDA. This is the Villa’s gem. A veranda just above the sea with amazing views to the sea that is considered one of the most beautiful in the Aegean. Various movies and commercial productions have been shot in this very veranda, where you will also find a day bed and a dining table for 8.

Second Floor

MAIN ROOM. At the second floor of the villa, you will find an open plan area (40 m²) with a double bed (1.60X2.00m).
DINING ROOM & KITCHEN. Here you will also find a small dining table for 4 and a kitchenette.
BATHROOM. At the second floor, you will find a bathroom with shower.
VERANDA. Yet another lovely spot, the second floor’s veranda (40 m²) has a wooden deck, sun loungers and a day bed. This is the highest spot in the neighbourhood, meaning that you will enjoy stunning panoramic views to the city.
